The 50th regular session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is taking place from 13th June – 8th July 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland. Dua Naz Kalhoro spoke in Item 3: Interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the right to education on 23 June 2022 on behalf of Global Human Rights Defence.
She highlighted the educational rights situation of Sindhi children in Pakistan. The oral submission emphasized on the current plight through statistics and requested to set up a committee to research and investigate this matter of grave concern for the lives of millions of Sindhi children and Sindhi people and come with an action plan to save their future and well-being.
