On 7th August 2021 at around 5 pm few hundreds of people attacked a Hindu village at Shiyali, Rupsha Upazila in Khuna district with sharp weapons. They demolished ten temples including Mathuya Temples and few houses and tortured females and children.

On Wednesday, 11th August, Human rights organizations and Hindu organizations jointly demonstrate with a human chain throughout Bangladesh and protested to stop such atrocities against minorities in country.

However, recently in Bangladesh, in the name of religious sentiment many Hindu villages are being targeted and demolished. Houses and belongings are being looted. The government has arrested 10 culprits in this connection. Human rights activists have raised their voice for the government to make sure that such atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh are immediately stopped .
