Hindu minorities in Bangladesh face religious persecution concerning temples destruction and ethnic cleansing. On the 2nd of June 2020, Nikhil Talukdar, Hindu farmer, was killed by Assistant Sub Inspector Mohammed Shamim in Gopalganj, which was another act of ethnic cleansing.
