Boyfriend suspected of having murdered his 17-year-old girlfriend

On April 13th a 17-year-old girl, candidate of Secondary Education died due to the injuries she got from a domestic brawl with her 27-year-old boyfriend. The event took place in Kitui, the southern part of Kenya. The Police reported that the boyfriend had stabbed the girl repeatedly until she was consciousness. After that, he is said to have turned himself in, in an attempt to commit suicide. He was treated at Kitui Level IV Hospital for his injuries.
