Youth Video Challenge to Educate on Disarmament

0

This year has been declared to be the “International Year of Peace and Trust” by the United Nations General Assembly. In the spirit of this and acknowledging that the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development cannot be met without peace, a youth video campaign has been launched for interpretations on what the world could look like if more money was allocated to peace and security instead of arms. This invitation can be understood to be an exciting insight into imagining a future with limited or no arms and can further offer inspiration as to how to address the current issues faced by military spending. Winners of this video competition will be able to participate in a thorough summer course on disarmament.
