Aden, Yemen. In a meeting with the new UN Special Envoy, Hans Grudberg, Yemen’s prime minister Maeen Abdul Malik Saeed declared that the there will be no peace, stability and security in Yemen until Houthi militia - backed by Iran - will stop blackmailing the world and conducting deadly attacks against civilians. The prime minister also expressed concern and criticism to the international community by underlining the lack of adequate efforts to put pressure on the Houthis to agree to peace efforts and cease the shelling of residential areas. Grundenberg concluded the meeting by stating that reaching an inclusive, comprehensive political solution meeting the needs of the people of Yemen is the primary and urgent aim of every actor, as peace efforts are a shared responsibility and require everyone’s commitment.
