Yemeni southern forces announced that one of their airbases in southern Yemen has been attacked on Sunday. Their spokesperson blamed the Iran-backed rebel Houthi movement, which is fighting a war against the Saudi-supported government. According to security and medical sources, at least 30 pro-government fighters have been killed during the attack targeting al-Anad airbase and 60 others were severely wounded. Yemeni President Hadi affirmed that the Houthis would “pay heavily for all the crimes they have committed against the people of Yemen”.
