Village in shock after student’s rape, killing

In Tanzania, more specifically in the Sikonge District, Tabora Region, a student went missing and was found dead during the weekend. The student, named Mwajuma Nasibu was 17 years of age and was a student at Mkolye secondary school. During the weekend she was found dead and dumped in a bush with signs that she'd been raped. There were also traces that the 17 year old student had been attacked with a sharp object towards her head as there were visible injuries on her head. It seems that Mwajuma had been having an affair with a man from the village who was accusing Mwajuma of having an affair with another man. The man have apparently fled to a unknown destination and nobody is held detained yet.
