Two human rights activists have been released from prison in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia released this week two prominent human rights activist from prison. Samar Badawi and Nassima al-Sadah were arrested in 2018 for fighting for women’s rights. Badawi was one of the first women in Saudi Arabia who fought for the right to drive for women, whereas al-Sadah was engaging for women’s rights of the Shia minority of Saudi Arabia.
