Transgender persons protest against police arrests of Fellow in Pakistan.

On Sunday 12th of September 2021, several Transgender persons protested against the police, who allegedly arrested other transgender persons. The protestors demonstrated against the police for the mistreatment of their fellow.

 The protest was held in Iqbal Town, Lahore, where the protestors were chanting slogans against the police and were blocking the traffic road. This caused a massive traffic jam, which resulted in negotiations between the protestors and the authority to open the road for traffic. 

When no agreement was made, the police started forcibly remove protestors. Furthermore, the police took some protestors in custody, where they registered cases of blocking the road and thereby interrupting public order. Finally, after a traffic blockage of hours, the road opened up again.
