The Educational Situation in Somaliland’s rural areas and children’s rights

The educational situation in Somaliland is not great and is not equal for all children and teenagers, especially when talking about rural areas and small villages in the countryside. Therefore, it is important to underline that a lot of social and environmental aspects can increase the problem, such as recurrent droughts, food insecurity, water shortages and poverty, realities that make children and teenagers absent from school.
