On Thursday, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhary spoke about how terrorist attacks had grown by 52 pc since the commencement of "Operation Regime Change”. Furthermore, following Wednesday's suicide attack near Quetta, Chaudhary voiced his anguish, later stating that“ the operation regime change had been carried out to topple “a well-performing PTI government” and replace it with an “imported inept government”” (Junaidi, 2022). According to Chaundhary, the rise in terrorist strikes is due to the Islamabad government's lack of "serious and competent" leadership. Pakistan’s government has “ruined the “fast thriving economy” besides destroying the governance altogether” (Junaidi, 2022).

However, according to the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), compared to October, there were 12 pc fewer militant strikes in November. In October, militant groups carried out 39 strikes, killing 33 people and injuring 41 others. Furthermore, in November, 34 strikes were carried out by militant groups, leaving 42 individuals killed and 49 individuals injured. “During the first 11 months of the current year, militants carried out 330 attacks in which 483 people died while 755 were injured. If compared with the first eleven months of 2021 there is a 24pc increase in militant attacks, 35pc rise in resultant deaths while 32pc increase in the number of injured”, PICSS further stated in the report (Junaidi, 2022).
