On November 15, a traveler blogger named “Xiaoxian Jayson” on social media platform Toutiao News was sentenced to seven months of prison for posing inappropriately next to the tombstone of Chinese martyrs who died in the Galwan Valley border clash with Indian troops.

On July 15, Xiaoxian Jayson traveled to Kangwaxi Martyrs Cemetery, where he took photos and on the same day, published these photos on his WeChat moments to about 5,000 online friends. His disrespectful photos and inappropriate behavior showed no respect to the heroes and martyrs. This attracted public attention, and the Chinese netizens have severely criticized it as disrespecting the martyrs.
