0

Mr. Akingbolahan Adeniran, the Ogun State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice has said that victims of human trafficking will get free legal service via the Ogun State Public Interest Law Partnership (OPILP). The OPILP is to work with private legal practitioners across the State to provide human trafficking victims with free legal services. This service will be advantageous for victims wanting to claim compensation for damages and who want to pursue civil action against their perpetrators. Additionally, the victims will have the possibility of attending different empowerment training programs, such as basic skills, under the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, to give them a source of income.
