After the so-called flag march from Israeli ultranationalists through East Jerusalem, Palestinian militants have launched incendiary balloons from their territory. Israel responded to this with new airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. According to Israel, the military attacked Hamas armed compounds in Gaza. Israeli police also fired rubber-tipped bullets at Palestinian protesting against the march earlier in the day.
