National Commission of Human Rights presents a proposal to include “Human Rights for children” in the formal educational system

On the occasion of African children’s day, The Cape Verdean National Commission of Human Rights (CNDHC) presented a project called “Human Rights for Children”. The project aims to include Human Rights in the formal educational system for children between 5 to 10 years old and also has the support of PlanBørnefonden fund. In this sense, the CNDHC aims to contribute to a culture of respect and practice of Human Rights in Cape Verde, building a basis for children to internalize these principles and become aware and respectful adults regarding Human Rights.
