The organisation ‘GoodPlanet Africa’, in collaboration with the organisation ‘Femme TIC’ organised on Thursday 16 September the launch of the second part of acitivities of the ‘Youth Leadership Program’ with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). This program was launched in 2015 with the goal of building a dynamic network in the Arab region working at the intersection of youth, innovation and sustainable development. Mainly, it provides juveniles with advanced methods that can turn their ideas into actual projects, empowering them to implement these ideas on a scientific basis and achieve positive change. YLP was first launched in Djibouti in 2020, and the conference last Thursday was attended by more than forty people from different districts of the country. The panelists talked about the new generation of young people in respect to entrepreneurship, the environment, climate change, technology and other perspectives such as gender equality. The attendees were encouraged to participate with the YLP, in order to become innovators and important actors for their communities.
