Arrivals of travelers affected with Ebola from Liberia’s neighboring country, who arrive on the daily basis, seem to worry many Liberians. According to an investigation of the Global News Network of Liberia, the outbreak of the Ebola virus in Guinea may likely spread to Liberia if the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS) do not control the influx at the border. Global News Network spoke to a concerned Liberian, Saralyn Tolbert, who expressed her worries about people from Guinea arriving in Liberia daily without proper checks and control at the border, she pleads to the immigration authorities to properly check borders. Both the Ministry of Health and the LIS both have important roles to play in avoiding ‘the resurrection’ of Ebola in Liberia. Health experts across the country urge the Liberian Government to take precautionary measures at the borders that would help stop the spread of Ebola.
