About 300 Kenyan youth, who went to Somalia to receive military training from Al-Shabaab militant group in Somalia has went back to their homes through the efforts of the Kenyan Security Forces and civil society organizations. The 300 young people went under training by the Somalia-based militants to stage terror attacks in their own country. The Government provides the youth with engaging activities led by civil society organizations. These civil society organizations, such as the Mombasa Women of Faith Network, Haki Africa and Kecosce work together in providing for the reintegration program of the youth. Most of the youth that come back plead anonymously with the government to help them reintegrate into society.
