ICC 21st Session of Assembly of States Parties Opens in The Hague

On December 5th, 2022, the International Criminal Court (ICC) opened the 21st session of the Assembly of States Parties to the 1998 Rome Statute establishing the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands. The session will run until December 10th, 2022. 

State Parties to the Rome Statute, observer States, invited States, international and regional organisations, and representatives from civil society will discuss the major challenges facing the Statute. State Parties will adopt resolutions regarding the functioning of the Court, the Trust Fund for Victims, and their budgets, for instance.
