Hindu Idol vandalised in Pakistan

Miscreants vandalized a Hindu temple and broke the idol of Lord Krishana during a religious function held to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna at Khipro in Sanghar district of Sindh province of Pakistan

After a Hindu temple in Bhong city of the Rahim Yar Khan district was vandalized last month, this time, a Hindu temple in the Sanghar district of Sindh Province was vandalized by a group of miscreants. On top of that, the idol of Lord Krishna was broken down (Times Now Bureau, 2021).

The incident took place on Monday August 30, during a religious function undertaken at the temple, held to celebrate the festival of Janmashtami (Times Now Bureau, 2021), which is a festival celebrated to praise and pray to Krishna (The Indian Express, 2021). 

Miscreants damaged the idols of Krishna, as well was walls, doors and electric fittings, thereby completely damaging the temple. India lodged a strong protest argued Pakistan to respond, after which Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the attack (Times Now Bureau, 2021).
