The Global Human Rights Defence (GHRD) is a non-governmental organization concerned with the promotion and protection of human rights, particularly those of minorities and marginalized groups. GHRD aims at enhancing their socio-economic empowerment by educating, advocating, and influencing.
The GHRD caters to promoting and protecting human rights globally, placing emphasis on the areas and populations where severe and extensive human rights violations of ethnic, linguistic, and religious minorities are taking place - something that often is overlooked by mainstream media.
