Free West Papuan Organisation Responsible For Attack on Papuan Military

A spokesman for the West Papua National Liberation Army-Free Papua Movement (TPNPB-OPM) Sebby Sambom admitted the responsible of an attack on the Subdistrict Military Command Post (Koramil) in Kisor Village, South Aifat District, Maybrat Regency, West Papua which caused deaths of four Indonesian Military personnel.
Commander of the Sorong Raya TPNPB-OPM Kodam IV is responsible for the attack. The attack, according to Sambom, was a beginning of war for West Papua’s independence as Indonesia is still occupying the land thus the war will continue indefintely.
Sambom asked for the government not to pursue, kill or conduct military operations in civilian areas and come directly to TPNPB headquarter to negotiate for West Papua’s liberation. He also asked President Joko Widodo to be willing to mediating with the TPNPB OPM for West Papua’s independence
