A Development Plan (PDFC) between France and Comoros will renovate 45 educational establishments in Comoros. The meeting occurred with the Minister of Finance and the presence of the Ministry of Finance, the state treasurer, the French ambassador and the acting director of the French Development Agency.

The project aims to improve the living environment of the students with the goal of creating technical and scientific courses in colleges. The project aims to provide a large variety of technical courses such as plumbing, construction, agro-food, electricity, fishing professionals etc. According to Comorian authorities, the country faces a lack of engineers and senior technicians in different fields due to the lack of specialized training structures. According to its promoters, the project "meets the ambitions of the Comoros Emerging Plan (PCE)" and has as a goal for "the improvement of human capital and access for all young Comorians to a better quality education, in an environment and adapted learning conditions”. The press release adds that “this is one of the most important school infrastructure programs ever implemented in the Union of the Comoros”.
