Recent events in Ethiopia have highlighted Eritrea’s involvement in unprovoked violence against Ethiopian civilians. Eritrean soldiers have been reported to have opened fire against Ethiopian civilians in the unsettled region of Tigray, with three people being recorded as deceased and 19 injured. The attack was supposedly unprovoked by the Ethiopians.
