Deforestation in Brazil: Impact on Indigenous People

There is great concern about the rapid and accelerated destruction of the Amazon rainforest over the last years. Deforestation brings dire consequences for the environment and for humanity. In Brazil, one of the most terrible consequences has been the forced displacement of entire indigenous communities from what they consider "their home". These communities have been dwelling in the forest for millions of years and are consider the forest great guardians, however they have been forced to abandon their homes because of the constant threat of logging.
