Call for investigation into Iran’s new president Raisi for crimes against humanity

The human rights groups Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch called for probe into the new president of Iran, Raisi, for crimes against humanity. Specifically, Raisi should be investigated over his role in the extrajudicial executions of political prisoners in 1988. Back then, thousands of the Islamic revolution opposing people were executed.
