A Christian girl named Mehwish Bibi who used to live in Rahwali, district Gujranwala (Pakistan) was kidnapped while she was going to college. When her parents realized that she did not come back from college, they started searching for her and came across two eyewitnesses who told her father that she was kidnapped by Muhammad Sabir and his two other companions on gunpoint. The witnesses also said the men are taking Mehwish somewhere so they can rape her. Mehwish father, Patras Masih, went to the police station and filed a police report.
GHRD discourages this practice, the police must protect the victims and not be partial with the offenders.
