A donation 63 tons of food and non-food items has been made to the province of Cuando-Cubango, eastern Angola. This donation aims to help 12 thousand families who have been affected by drought, floods caused by rain, and locust pests. These natural disasters have caused the destruction of agricultural fields, and some houses. The support is to be distributed to the nine municipalities in the province. The Angolan Secretary of State for Social Action, Lúcio Amaral, said the government will continue to support the families in need, to mitigate their vulnerability situation.
