Angola devoted to the promotion of Peace in Africa

The National Coordinator of the II Luanda Biennial – Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace in Africa, Sita José, reaffirmed Angola’s commitment to peace and the promotion of a culture of peace in Africa.

The Luanda Biennial is a joint action between the Angolan Government, the African Union, and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), working towards the implementation of the “Action Plan for the Culture of Peace in Africa”. In an interview about the event, Sita José reiterated the country’s eagerness to achieve the goals defined by African leaders for the pacification of the African continent. Further, Sita José mentioned the importance of hosting the event, representing for Angola a commitment to the search for lasting peace in African, which will, in turn, impact the economic and social development of African peoples.
