About 30,000 households in zimbabwe live without access to clean water, this has been the case for over 21 years

In Caledonia, Zimbabwe, about 30,000 live without access to clean water and water sewers for the past 21 years. There had been failed attempts to remedy the water crisis, as no service is being done to provide clean water in Caledonia. The residents of Caledonia have no other option than resort to digging wells, which do not provide for clean water, putting the residents’ health at risk. Moreover, residents complain of the roads being impassable and that there are no schools and clinics in the area. Caledonia citizens have not heard any communication from the City Council and the Zimbabwean Government regarding the matter.
