Comoros faces natural disasters and climate change

In order to update Comoros’ contingency plan and to be better prepared for natural disasters and climate change, the General Direction for Civil Security (GDCS) in partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) organized a workshop to analyze the impact of potential crises and establish courses of action in advance, to allow timely responses to the needs of the population, preserve the environment and strategic infrastructure. This workshop also capitalized the lessons learned from the management crisis from the Kenneth Cyclone and the COVID-19 pandemic issue.
