Mozambique: Multiple People Trapped in Mozambique Hotel After Militant Attack

0

More than 180 have been trapped inside the Amarula hotel in Palma, Northern Mozambique. These people are seeking refuge inside the hotel, as the town has been under siege by insurgents for the last three days. This attack followed the announcement by Total, the French energy company, that work would resume at the liquified gas project in the region. A unverified video was shared on social media showing the situation inside the hotel. The person who filmed it claims the hotel has run out of food. The Mozambican military has been trying to rescue people from the hotel by helicopter. https://allafrica.com/stories/202103270020.html
